Angels Rally back to beat Seattle

Light that baby up! Angels win!

Mike Trout was honored in the beginning with his MVP honors and a speech that rilled up Angels fans with a promise to bring back a ring to Anaheim.

Nolasco took the bump for the Angels, after a shaky opening day, Ricky Nolasco looked to contend even further. In the very first inning Nolasco gave up a two run homer to Hanigar.

Albert Pujols and Cameron Maybin singled in the bottom second to put a runner on scoring position. Danny Espinosa, hit a clutch single to right to put the Angels on the board. 2-1 Seattle.

In the top 3rd the Halos were able to get an inning ending double play thanks to the defensive wizard Andrelton Simmons, applying a tag at third to get Segura out.

Yunel Escobar, doubled to lead off the bottom of the third. Then the red hot Kole Calhoun singled in Escobar to tie the game at three.

Yunel comes up for the Angels again, as he sent a solo shot to center to give the Angels a one run lead over the Seattle Mariners.

Nolasco, settled in after giving up 2, became the first Angel pitcher to go six innings of work. Nolasco ended the night with 6.0 IP, 4 H, 3 ER, 1 BB, 3 K.

Seattle was able to tie it up in the seventh, thanks to sone singles.

The man of the night arrived to the plate. Mike Trout clutched up and hit a two run shot to left-center field. Giving them a 5-3 lead.

Cam Bedrosian, came into close the game out. The club asked him to get 5 outs and he struck out 4 of those batters to give the Angels the win.

The Halos look to sweep the Mariners tomorrow at 12:30 PDT
